Election posters
Election campaigns are one of the components of any democratic state's existence. As the name suggests, campaigns are organised some time prior to an election. Election campaigns focus chiefly on the achievements and promises of the potential candidates - their election programmes contain mostly proposals and ideas for the introduction of beneficial changes that will enhance the daily lives of citizens.
Next to election leaflets, the election poster is one of the most popular forms of advertising selected during a campaign. This solution is relatively cheap and effective. Posters catch the eye from afar, and this increases the chances of being remembered among the voters and consequently the chance of success in the upcoming elections. Posters need to be legible, simple in communicating the message and aesthetically pleasing - they do not need to contain a lot of information. They have to present the candidate or candidates in the best possible light and attract the voters to the polls. When designing an election poster, care should be taken to ensure that the form does not outweigh the content. Too many elements on the poster make it illegible and unattractive. To make matters worse, too much content saturation makes it easy to lose the sense of priorities, i.e. to tell which information is relevant and of real significance. Election posters are considered to be one of the most popular and at the same time the most widely used mass media - through their relatively large format they draw the attention of voters. They arouse their interest and at the same time increase the possibility of persuading them to vote. Election posters are printed advertising designed to be placed in public spaces. They can often be seen on the walls of commercial buildings, information boards, advertising poles, etc. In a nutshell, the more posters appear in public places, the better.
Printing election posters is one of the core services of most Polish printers - Bluejet very often provides professional poster design consultancy in addition to the printing itself. We print election posters on a variety of materials: citylight paper, blueback side paper, fluted polypropylene, PVC boards, HIPS boards and banners. 100% recyclable materials are becoming increasingly popular, in particular printing on polypropylene as an alternative to traditional 'plywood' [general term for lesser quality materials].
